Worship Gathering

  • Faith Fellowship Church 2723 Kingsbrook Lane Missouri City USA (map)

Every Sunday, we gather to worship God and celebrate and remember the Gospel together as a faith family. During this time, we sing several songs, offer prayers of praise and confession to God, hear Scripture read, give our offerings and tithes, and hear the Word of God preached.

Here are a few details that give a bit more of what you can expect at a typical Worship Gathering at Faith Fellowship:

Music The music we sing at Faith Fellowship is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the 18th century and we find blessing in the songs of the twenty-first. Most of us who are comfortable with music from one particular era have discovered, while at Faith Fellowship, that we have come to enjoy other songs we had not previously encountered.

Sermons Preaching at Faith Fellowship is generally expositional, meaning that it seeks to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons usually last around about 35 minutes and on a regular basis, our sermon series alternate between the Old and New Testaments. All preaching is driven by the Gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

After the Worship Gathering: We sing a song encapsulating the theme of the Worship Gathering. A typical service is finished by 11:15 am. We encourage people to check out a Small Group or stick around for awhile and get to know others. An hour later, you might still find folks talking over the sermon and events of the past week.
