Easter Morning

It's 7:00am and by now the Roman guards are meeting with the Jewish leaders about their experience with angel who moved the stone. It is also the Feast of First Fruits, which celebrated the miracle of seeds planted in the earth to die, so that it might grow and yield a bountiful crop.

Amazingly, Jesus, the Lamb of God, was killed on Passover. Just before He died, darkness came over the land reminiscent of the first Passover in Exodus. He is laid to rest in the tomb on the Sabbath, the day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread where the good seed went into the ground to die. Finally, He rises on Sunday, the day of the First Fruits where the harvest and life are celebrated!

Jesus is alive! See you this morning as we gather online to worship our great Savior who was killed in our place, but who is alive now and forever!

We hope to see you this morning online as we worship our risen Savior together!

Jesus is alive!
