Good Friday

Feast of Unleavened Bread

The sun has set and Good Friday is over as the Sabbath begins. Jesus is in the tomb, sealed by a stone and guarded by Roman soldiers. This day also begins the feast that follows the Passover: the Feast of Unleavened Bread, a celebration commemorating the 'good seed' that must go into the ground and die to yield a crop.

The “Good Seed” is in the ground. The next feast is the Feast of First Fruits which begins Sunday. This feast acknowledges God's faithfulness to bring in the harvest. The harvest is coming!
